I am primarilyįocused on installing this driver, however I am open to suggestions if this is not the correct path to take. The change that I remember making is disabling Signed Driver Enforcementįrom my searching online, I have discovered that the driver needs to be installed in order for the device to be recognized, so this is not one of the devices that are " plug and play ready in Windows 10".Manager, installing through the setup application, and the CH341.exe application I have disabled Signed Driver Enforcement, tried a variety of downloads for the driver, tried using Driver Easy to install the driver, and tried to install the driver using the automatic find option in the device manager, hard disk option in the device.I have 3 USB ports on my computer, a Toshiba Satellite C55-A. The device is a "Gikfun USB Nano V3.0 ATmega328 CH340G", an off brand Arduino Nano made by Gikfun. The arduino appears like this in the device manager, I'm not sure if that counts as "yellow bang icon".The arduino typically appears as a USB 2.0 Serial device, but changed to unknown device (I'm not quite sure how) so I uninstalled it, unplugged it, plugged it back in, and it was shown as a USB 2.0 Serial device again.
